Where does the time go?
According to X factor, Strictly and the like, everything is a journey these days so..
Exactly one year ago, to the day, we started on this journey. Six months later we were turning the key on our opening night and from then on it's been a roller coaster ride (another platitude borrowed from Dancing On Ice). Indeed dancing on ice may have been a more appropriate metaphor, as we dealt with stubborn fridge freezers, taming fly-away air conditioning and even (fixing) the kitchen sink, all the while trying to keep it real, front of house. We needn't have worried as everything fell (sometimes quite literally) into place with a little help from my friends.
